Is a Mexican-born Australian environmental activist and graduate living in the stolen lands of the Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nation. Her activism work is oriented towards achieving post-capitalist futures where there is social justice on a healthy planet. Sandy's academic background is in environmental science and planetary health and she has interests in degrowth, wellbeing economics, and Indigenous solidarity and advocacy. Sandy is part of Degrowth Network Australia and is also involved with the Latin American Solidarity Network (LASNET).
